Fly-In Lake Fishing

Join us on another unique adventure that you won’t soon forget. We start our journey in Tofino where we load our gear into a De Havilland Beaver Float Plane. We then fly approximately 20-30 minutes across the vast waterways of inner Clayoquot Sound, with breathtaking views of the open Pacific and coastal mountains. We often have the bonus of viewing Grey Whales and Black Bears from our aerial vantage point. Depending on the guest’s pre determined choice of pursuing either Rainbow or Cutthroat Trout, we travel to a specific pristine mountain lake hidden among the majestic coastal mountains.

Your guide then assembles your personal pontoon boats, and your choice of fly or spinning gear. Canoes and Rowboats may also be available for those that prefer this method of accessing the prime spots within these small to medium sized lakes. Most of the lakes that we access provide exceptional fishing for Cutthroat Trout in the 12-20 inch range. We also provide our guests the option of fishing one of a few unique hideaway lakes that produce trophy class Rainbow Trout in the 2-8 lb. range. A seasonal shore lunch may be an option on some lakes, otherwise these great excursions are 100% catch and release.

These fantastic guided excursions are outfitted with all hearty meals, top quality fishing equipment and camp supplies, including return float plane flight. You are responsible for your own waders and boots and sleeping bag. Not included in the above packages are; Accommodations in Tofino, Personal Fishing Licences, Alcohol, GST Tax and optional gratuities. All prices are based in Canadian Dollars.
